  を研究しています。 指導学生の研究テーマもこれらに準じたものを想定しています。
  I study volcanic earthquakes, earthquake swarms clustered in narrow regions, and subsurface structure of volcanoes, mainly around Mt. Ontake region in central Japan. These are also the expected research themes for students in my labolatory.
  
  
• これらの研究によって 目に見えない地下を流体が流れる様子 が見えてきます。その 時間変化 まで追えるのが地震波を使った研究の特色です。
  These studies unveil subsurface fluid flow, including its temporal change.
  
  
• 日々の研究で実際にやることは主に コンピュータによるデータ解析 です。希望すれば観測にも行けます。
  Daily works are mainly data analyses using computers. Optionally, you can attend field works.
  
  
• 卒論・修論・D論の具体的な研究テーマは応相談。 興味があれば研究室訪問、オンラインでの打合せ等、歓迎します。 まずはEメール( maeda@seis.nagoya-u.ac.jp )で日程調整をお願いします。

  Want to use my computer codes?
  → Available as ymaeda_opentools in Zenodo. Click the link above for documentation. Personal contact is not necessary as long as you appropriately cite the tools. Programs not included in ymaeda_opentools cannot be distributed even as personally in near future, because these are under reconstruction.

  → 私が内容をおおよそ理解できると想定される専門分野は「地震学・火山物理学」、 より高度な専門性が要求される場合は「火山地震学」です。
  Considering a review request?
  → Probably, I can roughly understand most manuscripts in seismology or volcano physics, and more precisely understand manuscripts in volcano seismology.
