CWP/SU:Seismic Un*x Release 43 some time after: 23 Dec 2011
----------------------------------------------------------------
Major Changes:
---------------------------------------------------------------
The CWP/SU:Seismic Un*x source code is now available from our Google
codes repository at: http://code.google.com/p/seismicunix
Revision control is maintained using Mercurial. This repository
is to aid developers of SU.
Thanks to Ricardo Bilotti for setting this up, and to Reg
Beardsley for major contributions.

The official releases of SU for general usage are still at:
http://www.cwp.mines.edu/cwpcodes

---------------------------------------------------------------
SU Wiki:
---------------------------------------------------------------
The New Seismic Unix Wiki is located at:
http://www.seismicunix.com/w/Main_Page

In particular, the Wiki Guide to Seismic Un*x at
http://www.seismicunix.com/w/The_Wiki_Guide
provides tips on the use of Seismic Unix.

Thanks to Oleg V. Poliannikov of MIT,
Gerhard Diephuis of TU Delft, and Mike Stone of Act3Solutions
for setting this up, and to Reg Beardsley for making major
contributions.

--------------------------
Major changes in Release 43:
-------------------------------------
C99 compliance:
Thanks to the Herculean efforts of Reg Beardsley, the SU
package is now C99 compliant with regard to the handling
of complex numbers and complex valued functions.
--------------------------
Installation:
The installation process has been changed slightly to give
users choices of pre-modified Makefile.config files for
a number of architectures.

These are located in:
$CWPROOT/src/configs
Thanks to Reg Beardsley
--------------------------
Developer tools:
Scripts Config, Build, Install, Check, Fatsafe are provided,
primarly for SU developers.
Thanks to Reg Beardsley
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
New codes include:
--------------------------
cwp/lib/unwrap.c - phase unwrapping algorthims
John Stockwell, CWP, Colorado School of Mines
par/lib/getpars.c - added "checkpars()" function to check
		commandline parameters.
		- Reg Beardsley
